Every DuraTrack segment is forged and through hardened for extended wear life, with tooth profiles induction hardened to over 50RC. Segments bolt to the sprocket hub in sections and are replaced individually without removing the track, and DuraTrack segment bolts are Grade 12.9. DuraTrack dozer sprocket segments carry a 3 year, 3,000 hour warranty, whichever comes first, matching the OEM warranty period.
Segments are matched by pitch, tooth count and bolt holes per segment, from 155mm pitch on the CAT D1 to D4K2 up to 260mm on the CAT D10. Where one model takes more than one segment, the listing names the variant, such as blade type and link count on the CAT D6 or serial number on the John Deere 700J and 700K. On the John Deere 750 and 850, confirm the segment offset when ordering.
A worn segment shortens the life of a new chain, so segments are normally changed with the track. Pair them with dozer track chains, or see dozer undercarriage for half kits, full kits and conversion kits.
