Steel tracks give an excavator strength, stability and wear life. They also chew up everything they travel over. Rubber pads let you keep the steel undercarriage and still work on finished surfaces without leaving a repair bill behind you.
On urban civils, road maintenance, rail and utility work, surface damage is a reinstatement cost rather than a cosmetic problem. Rubber pads remove it, cut noise and vibration, and keep the steel undercarriage intact. DuraLine Plus comes in three fitting styles for machines from 4 to 26 tonnes.
The three DuraLine Plus fitting styles

Roadliner
One-piece vulcanised pad bolting directly to the steel track chain in place of the shoe. For machines that live on finished surfaces, including rail infrastructure work.

Bolt-on
Semi-permanent conversion bolting onto the existing track shoe, in widths from 400mm to 600mm. For machines mostly working on surfaces that must be protected.

Clip-on
Fixed bracket one side, secure clamp the other. Fits in half the time of conventional pads, so machines that switch between rough ground and roads change over faster.
Bolt torques and link pitches differ by product code, so send us the machine and shoe width and we will confirm both.
DuraLine Plus Pads offer 52% more durability than standard pads based on independent abrasion analysis, using an advanced abrasion-resistant and anti-chunking rubber compound. Independent testing recorded a hardness of 77 Shore A across five specimens.
DuraLine Plus is now the chosen rubber pad for several of the largest global excavator OEMs, field tested on urban roads, country lanes, motorways and railways around the world.

Frequently asked questions
What are the advantages of rubber pads on an excavator?
Rubber pads let a steel-tracked machine work on asphalt, block paving and concrete without the grouser bars cutting into the surface. You avoid the reinstatement cost, cut noise and vibration, and keep the strength and wear life of the steel undercarriage rather than converting to rubber tracks.
Which rubber pad style should I choose?
Roadliner pads bolt straight to the chain in place of the shoe and suit machines that live on finished surfaces. Bolt-on pads are a semi-permanent conversion onto the existing shoe. Clip-on pads fit in half the time of conventional pads and suit machines that switch between rough ground and finished surfaces.
How durable are DuraLine Plus pads?
DuraLine Plus pads offer 52% more durability than standard pads based on independent abrasion analysis. Independent testing recorded a hardness of 77 Shore A across five specimens.
What size rubber pads do I need?
Pads are specified by width, link pitch and fitting style. We need the machine make and model, the track shoe width, the link pitch, and whether the machine runs standard or heavy-duty shoes. Send those over and we will confirm the pad and the correct bolt torque.
Do you supply rubber pads for backhoe loaders?
Yes. DuraLine SP street pads protect asphalt and pavements from backhoe stabilisers, including options for the JCB 3CX and 4CX, replacing OEM Part No. 980/88215.
