The track adjuster, also called the track tensioner or recoil spring assembly, sits in the undercarriage frame between the bulkhead and the idler and keeps the track correctly tensioned. DuraTrack track adjusters are listed for Kobelco models including SK30SR-3, SK100MK4, SK120MK5, SK130LC-11, SK135SR, SK140SRLC-7, SK170-8, SK200-8, SK210LC-10 and SK235SR. Each assembly combines a grease-filled tensioning piston that sets the tension when grease is pumped through the nipple, a spring pack that absorbs impact as the track meets obstacles, and a yoke that bolts to the idler side arms. All DuraTrack track adjusters are manufactured to OEM specification and inspected throughout manufacture to ensure correct fitment and performance.

Track adjusters carry a 12 month warranty when purchased and fitted with a new idler, and 6 months when fitted without one, because a worn idler can cause a new adjuster to fail prematurely. It is also far easier to replace the adjuster while the idler is being changed.
