DuraLine Rubber Pads
Rubber Pads for Excavators & Tracked Plant
Rubber pads let a steel-tracked machine work on roads, hardstanding and finished surfaces without damaging them, and they are often what gets a machine onto a site with surfaces to protect in the first place.
Astrak supplies DuraLine and DuraLine Plus pads in three excavator fitting styles for machines from 4 to 26 tonnes: Roadliner and bolt-on from 400mm to 600mm, and clip-on from 500mm to 800mm. The range also covers paver, planer, street and demolition robot pads. Which style applies is set by how often the pads need to come on and off.
- DuraLine Plus pads offer 52% more durability than standard pads based on independent abrasion analysis
- Clip-on pads fit in half the time of conventional pads
- Bolt torque figures supplied for every pad
- Next-working-day delivery from stock

The DuraLine Rubber Pad Range
Three fitting styles for excavators, and specialist ranges for pavers, planers, backhoe loaders and demolition robots.
Roadliner Pads
4 to 26 tonnes, 400mm to 600mmA one-piece vulcanised pad that bolts directly to the steel track chain in place of the shoe, including for rail infrastructure work.
Roadliner pads
Clip-On Pads
9 to 26 tonnes, 500mm to 800mmA fixed bracket one side and a secure clamp the other, so the pads go on and come off without unbolting the shoe. Fitted in half the time of conventional pads.
Clip-on pads
Bolt-On Pads
4 to 26 tonnes, 400mm to 600mmA semi-permanent conversion that bolts through the existing track shoe, for machines where the pads stay on.

Planer pads
PU Pads & DuraLine XD
The Smart Pad systemPolyurethane pads for milling machines and pavers, and the DuraLine XD Smart Pad: a replaceable rubber pad on a long-life baseplate, so the pad is renewed and the baseplate stays on the machine.
PU padsRubber Pads by Machine and Surface
Pads are supplied for excavators from 4 to 26 tonnes, tracked pavers, road milling machines, backhoe loaders and robotic demolition machines including Brokk, Husqvarna and McConnel. How to Specify Excavator Rubber Pads
Three numbers decide the pad: the machine weight class, the width of the track shoe it is going on, and the link pitch of the chain. Bolt torque follows from the pad, and runs from 85Nm to 894Nm across the range.
| Style | Machine weight | Widths | Link pitches | Bolt torque | How it fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roadliner | 4T to 26T | 400mm to 600mm | 135, 140, 154, 171, 175 and 190mm | 179Nm to 894Nm | One-piece vulcanised pad, bolts directly to the chain in place of the shoe |
| Clip-on | 9T to 26T | 500mm to 800mm | 171 and 190mm | 215Nm | Fixed bracket one side, clamp the other. On and off without unbolting the shoe |
| Bolt-on | 4T to 26T | 400mm to 600mm | 135, 154, 171 and 190mm | 85Nm to 435Nm | Bolts through the existing track shoe. Semi-permanent |

Shoes and Pads Together
If the shoes are near their wear limit, fit the pads to new predrilled shoes rather than to shoes due for replacement. Triple grouser shoes are supplied from 300mm to 1200mm alongside the pads, with non-standard sizes for bespoke applications on request.

Free Undercarriage Inspection
Pads bolt to the chain, so the chain's condition decides how long the job lasts. Our free inspection measures the whole undercarriage and reports the wear percentage of each component, with the corrective actions.
