Front idlers for excavators and other tracked machines

The idler sits at the front of the track frame, guides the track links and, together with the track adjuster, keeps the chain at the correct tension. DuraTrack cast idler assemblies are supplied complete with heavy-duty seal groups, shafts and brackets, manufactured to OEM specification in ISO 9001 approved facilities. Select a make below to see the idlers listed by machine model.

Why choose DuraTrack idlers

  • Complete assembly, ready to install
  • Heavy-duty seal groups as standard
  • Part of the full DuraTrack undercarriage range, so idlers, rollers, sprockets and chains can be matched and supplied together

Install the track adjuster at the same time

A worn idler can cause a new track adjuster to fail prematurely, and the adjuster is far easier to replace while the idler is off. See track adjusters for your machine.
